who we are
We are Boy Scout Troop 459 in Overland Park, KS, founded in 1954 and we have been around for more than 67 years. We are an active group of boys and adults that love to have fun, go camping every month, and try new things. In the summer, we attend H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation with about 80 boys and adults. We have an active summer-time High Adventure program that you will never forget.
In recent years, we have gone canoeing at Boundary Waters, SCUBA diving at SEABASE, attended the National Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Reserve, went hiking at Philmont Scout Ranch, enjoyed white water rafting in Colorado, etc. What will you do with us next? That is up to you as our Scouts choose what we will do and where we will go.
