Troop 459

About Us

Troop 459 originally chartered at Indian Creek school. When the school closed, we moved our charter to Colonial Presbyterian Church at 95th and Wornall in Kansas City, Mo. In the spring of 2007, We moved the troop to the newly built Colonial Presbyterian Campus near 135th and Quivira, in Overland Park, Ks.

Over the last 11 years, we have had 3 scoutmasters. A testament to the stable environment this troop offers. We encourage every parent to get involved with the troop, and enjoy the scouting experience with their son. Our focus is to provide an environment for the boys where they are free to self lead. Sometimes, they stumble, and we are there to help pick up the pieces. Most often, they soar like eagles.
