I. Call to Order:  7:30 PM
Recruiting:  Mike Dulle will be taking on the Recruiting Coordinator position from Caren Howes.  The need for a protocol for visiting Webelos was discussed.  This includes the procedure for greeting and meeting with parents as well as getting the Scouts involved.  Follow up with the parents was key to the success of recruiting.
Adult Participation:  A mandatory adult meeting has been scheduled for Monday, 3/24.  Pam Forson volunteered to send a letter to each home.

Topics of discussion will be:  Troop Positions, Parent campout coverage, Merit Badge Counselors & High Adventure ‘08

Eagle Court of Honor has been scheduled for Sunday, May 4, pending church availability.

Troop Court of Honor is scheduled for Monday, April 14

Campouts:  Commitments will be taken at the Troop meeting on Monday, 3/3, for the KATY Trail campout on 3/14-16.  There may be need to reschedule for 3/28-30 due to Spring Break schedules.

Campout Coordinator position needs to be filled.

High Adventure:  Dates were confirmed for High Adventure, Gunnison, CO for Saturday, 7/26 – Sunday, 8/3.  An April 1st deadline was set for commitments and deposits.  Costs and deposits are yet to be determined.  It was clarified that this is not a “family trip”, but is open to all Scouts and registered adults.
Trash Bag sales:  The price of $10 per roll was established.  Scouts may purchase bags for $10 to sell on their own.  The bags must be paid for up-front.  A credit of $2 per roll will be given to the scout’s summer camp account.

When a scout participates in sales at Colonial, or other venue, he will be given credit of $1 per roll.  The total number of rolls sold that day divided by the number of scouts in attendance will determine the amount of credit.
Storage Area:  A plan will be submitted to the Church for construction of a storage area for Troop supplies.
Good Turn:  The Church has asked to borrow the Troop’s carports for a garage sale 3/26-3/29.  It was agreed that they would be made available.  Logistics on transport and set-up would be determined.

An effort will be made for the Troop to participate in the Blue River Rescue environmental clean up on 4/5.

Brownsea NYLT:  It was determined that an announcement would be made regarding Brownsea.  Because of the date, the day after summer camp, it was decided that attendance would be difficult.
Summer Camp Volunteers:  Trading Post, Program Areas, Camp Site Hosts, and COPE adult volunteers are needed for any camp, any session.  Part-time volunteers may also be needed.  Contact HOA office.
Merit Badge Counselors:  The Troop only has a couple registered.  An effort will be made to improve on this.
Additional Activity:  Attending a Civil War Reenactment at 169th & Holmes on 5/17 was suggested.
Website:  A Troop “contact” page was suggested.  Contacts to include Committee Chair, Scoutmaster, and COR.  Webmaster, Stephen Dunn, has requested info from the Troop to keep the site updated.  Campouts, announcements, etc.
  Adjourn:  9:30 p.m.
